WILL DAVIDSON LLP is currently representing women in Canadian transvaginal mesh lawsuits, where tension-free vaginal mesh tape (TVT) was used. These women are suffering from serious post-surgical injuries after undergoing gynecological or bladder repair surgery in Canada.

Canadian transvaginal mesh lawsuits are being commenced against the manufacturers of the transvaginal mesh, as transvaginal mesh can cause numerous complications, including perforation of the vaginal walls, pain, urinary problems, bleeding, and the recurrence of prolapse and/or incontinence. Complications have also led to injuries to nearby blood vessels and organs, including the bowel and bladder. These complications have triggered numerous Canadian transvaginal mesh lawsuits filed by patients who have fallen victim to infections, erosion of the vaginal mesh and other painful complications.

If you are interested in commencing a Canadian transvaginal mesh lawsuit, contact WILL DAVIDSON LLP today to learn how your rights can be asserted, and how you may be entitled to compensation. We would also be happy to answer any questions you have regarding Canadian transvaginal mesh lawsuits in general.

WILL DAVIDSON LLP is an experienced law firm with offices throughout Ontario. We are handling individual Canadian transvaginal mesh lawsuits nationwide, and are accepting new Canadian transvaginal mesh lawsuits from all provinces and territories.

The partners and staff of Will Davidson LLP extend their warmest congratulations to our colleague and friend, the Honourable Mr. Justice John R. McCarthy, on the occasion of his appointment as a Judge to the Superior Court of Justice in the Province of Ontario. Justice McCarthy has long been associated with the lawyers at Will Davidson LLP and became Counsel to the firm in 2006. He has contributed immensely to the social and intellectual fabric of the firm and to the advancement of law in the Province of Ontario. We wish Justice McCarthy the very best as he commences his new career on the Bench.

Justice McCarthy’s appointment is indicative of the unparalleled history of excellence within Will Davidson LLP. His is the ninth appointment of one of our lawyers to the Superior Court of Justice in the Province of Ontario. A remarkable accomplishment in and of itself for such a small firm, which reflects a long tradition of commitment to the administration of justice and access to our Courts for those most in need.

WILL DAVIDSON LLP is currently investigating complaints from women suffering from serious post-surgical injuries after undergoing gynaecological or bladder repair surgery, where Johnson & Johnson’s Gynecare Tension-free Vaginal Tape (TVT) was used.

Health Canada has acknowledged and warned surgeons that Gynecare TVT has serious manufactured defects, which include rough edges along the tape, and disintegration of the tape, causing tape particles to dangerously migrate to other parts of the body.

The most frequent complications from surgery where Gynecare TVT was used are perforation of the vaginal walls, pain, urinary problems, bleeding, and the recurrence of prolapse and/or incontinence. Complications have also led to injuries to nearby blood vessels and organs, including the bowel and bladder.

If you have experienced complications after undergoing surgery where Gynecare TVT was used, contact WILL DAVIDSON LLP today to learn how your rights can be asserted, and how you may be entitled to compensation.

Breadth of Knowledge: Trace obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in both Biology and Psychology, from the University of Toronto. He next achieved certification by the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario, and then a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Windsor. In 2008, Trace was licenced as a Paralegal by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Since joining Will Davidson LLP in 1996, Trace has participated in over 30 continuing legal education programmes put on by esteemed professional organizations such as: the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Advocates’ Society.

Depth of Experience: Over the past 16 years, Trace has assisted hundreds of our clients with obtaining replacement of lost income, and compensation for injuries, as a result of accidental injury, physical or psychological illness, and disability. Trace has participated in mediations with lawyers and insurers before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. He has achieved success for many clients before Canada Pension Plan disability benefit review tribunals. He has occasionally assisted clients in the Small Claims Court, and in other areas of practice.

Demand for Respect: Trace is of the view that an injured or disabled person deserves respect from insurers and from the party who caused the injury. He views injury and disability as life-changing experiences for our clients – even if others don’t appreciate it. Trace strives to have insurers accord his clients due respect for their injuries and losses, and also for their emotional well-being. It’s not just the end result that matters. It’s also how Trace gets our clients to that end result. The opposing party must respect our client along the way.

The Lighter Side: Outside of work, Trace is most likely to be found near water. Whether in a kayak, sailboat, powerboat, or floating along on a log, Trace enjoys being on and around the water. His alternate choice – bicycling. Both Trace and his wife, Rebekah, regularly cycle the roads and trails of Muskoka. Trace has an artistic streak, including the sale of chainsaw carvings to buyers from Canada, the U.S.A. and Europe.
