COVID-19 Update

As of March 17, 2020, the Premier of Ontario has declared a state of emergency in response to the spread of COVID-19. While our firm has not been mandated to close, other businesses, such as restaurants and bars that cannot provide a takeout option, will have to close temporarily.

The team at Will Davidson LLP would like to notify clients that our lawyers and staff are available to assist them during this delicate time. Our offices remain open and are staffed with critical personnel only. Some of our lawyers and staff are working remotely and will continue to serve our clients.

We will continue to monitor information provided by health professionals and the Government of Ontario, and will take necessary precautions to ensure the well-being of our lawyers, staff, and clients. Further updates will be available on our website and social media profiles.

Will Davidson LLP will continue to provide legal services to all clients. We have technology in place to provide a seamless client experience.

For clients who are preparing for trial: The Courts have advised that during this time only urgent matters will be heard. Contingency plans will be put in place to reschedule trials, motions, and hearings.

The Ontario Superior Court of Justice has also suspended operations until further notice.

During this time, we want to encourage our clients, business associates, and the general public to listen to healthcare professionals and stay tuned to local news as we try to navigate this temporary state of life.

We look forward to putting this behind us very soon.

Sincerely, the team at Will Davidson LLP.
