Viet had the following statements:

“He was a loving great-grandfather, grandfather, father and husband.  We entrusted his care to the owners of Erin Mills Lodge and their actions caused us to lose him to soon.”

“He was the head of the family and he was always there for every member of the family.”

“He loved  to travel and had an interest in photography/videography in order to capture all life’s special moments.”

“I consider it my duty to my father to push for an investigation of this tragedy. Those that are responsible for this state of affairs must take responsibility and be held accountable.  That is the reason I decided to go forward with this action on behalf of all the residents of Erin Mills Lodge.”

There are many well run long term care facilities in the province of Ontario.  In fact over half of the long term care facilities in Ontario have no deaths, according to Gary Will.  We at Will Davidson LLP salute those dedicated individuals and companies who are working so hard to keep these vulnerable residents safe and healthy in these difficult times.  At the other end of the spectrum there are a small handful of homes which have accounted for the majority of deaths in long term care facilities in Ontario.  Unfortunately, Schlegel Villages Inc. did not properly care for its vulnerable residents and this has resulted in dozens of grieving families.

Hello, My brother Hamlen Yohanna who was also a resident at this Lodge died of Covid too on April 17 2020. No one said anything to us. We enquired about his health record, they said we should talk to his POA.
We cheked on that, we found out no one had a POA on him but a forged Will. He had a knee injury and cold not move about easily.
