Gurpal Sandhu returns to Will Davidson LLP as an Associate after articling with the firm in its Toronto office. He was called to the bar in 2018.
Gurpal practices in both the Insurance Defence and Plaintiff Personal Injury groups of Will Davidson LLP. His practice involves assisting both individuals and insurance companies in a wide variety of areas, including personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, and property loss, among others. Gurpal has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Small Claims Court.
Gurpal earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science (with Distinction) from Simon Fraser University in 2014. Gurpal then earned his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2017.
He also earned a Certificate in International Business Law at the Bader International Study Centre in the United Kingdom following his first year of law.
While at Queen’s University, Gurpal was involved in various moots, held a research assistant position, was a volunteer editor with the Queen’s Law Journal, and participated on the sponsorship committee of the Queen’s Law Cancer Society.
Outside of work, Gurpal plays squash, basketball and the odd game of chess. He also enjoys exploring Toronto.
