Joel Cormier earned his LL.B. from Queen’s University in 2005 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2006. Joel joined the firm in 2010 after gaining experience at a busy Toronto litigation boutique.

Joel’s areas of expertise include construction and commercial litigation. Joel has considerable experience representing developers, builders, construction managers and trades in both contract disputes and tort claims. Joel also represents insurers in property damage litigation, subrogation matters, and product liability claims.

However, Joel also knows the value of early resolution to his clients, so whenever possible he leverages his courtroom experience to obtain the best possible settlements for clients without the cost of trial.
